(Movie Review)IP Man(葉問)

Just got back from the Cinema watching Ip Man , at first I din knew what kinda show was it and pronounced it as I-P Man.....as man in english , I still remember the first time I heard this show and was like "What!? I-P Man? " what kinda show is that =.= . But good thing I din turn down the invitation as this show is quite fun to watch ,although in the middle of the show it felt like history class .But still hey who wouldn't want to know Bruce Lee's master ^.^ .One thing that will really catch your attention is that Ip Man rocks.....he is like umm....invincible . In one particular scene you can see him fighting 10 people all together and i'm not talking just any hoodlum his opponents are Karate black belts O.o . The show progress umm....progress quite smoothly , and you can actually catch what's going on in the show . And yes the this show has alot of comedy moments ^.^ especially before the japanese invasion Ip Man face expression is not to be missed O.o .

All in all , this show is worth your time and not to be missed for kung-fu fans . As i'm not quite of a kung-fu fan myself but still I enjoyed the show alot  . This show has got a  7/10 in my book ^.^

(Anime Review)Blassreiter

Ok.....First of all I gotta apologize for making such a late review for such an AWESOME!!!anime......


This anime is definitely listed on one of my top 10 list and it won't be going down until a while....^.^

The show will start of with tons of mysteries like what's an Almagam and so on and on , the story will unfolds nicely in it's following episodes which is one of the reasons i like the anime....


The show starts off in a racing circuit where we see Gerd racing , then suddenly an Almagam showed up and started killing off the people in the circuit, just when the Almagam was on his killing spree , a Weird Amalgam( the main character of the Show ) show up and finished off the Almagam .In that process Gerd was injured and was never able to ride on the circuit again.....not long after that his girlfriend left him and his team cut him off . filled with gried and despair , A women offer him pill, and said that if he took that pill he would have a chance to ride on the circuit again but there's a posibility he will die ,drowned by his emotions Gerd decided to take the pill . Not long after that....the scene was moved to XAT( a type of police force that specializes in Almagams ) fighting a new Almagam . Just when the Almagam took one of the XAT members hostage a figure appeared and took cared of the Almagam within seconds....when the fight was over the figure jumped down and revert back to his human form , and to the suprise of XAT that figure was Gerd....


Okay that was more like the synopsis of episode one, but writing more about it seems to be able to ruin the show .

Here's for the main female character AMANDA!!!!!the hotest chick in the show ^.^

I really wish they would make a figure of Amanda in her casual clothes ^.^

This face can kill =.=(me) A more easier to understand tone would be "me wanna take her home ^.^"

The Animation of this show is definitely top notch I must say.....must be all the CG's =.= . The story is full of depths and twist and turn making you to anticipate the show more after you seen it. I remember I was only waiting for Sundays so I can get my dose of Blassreiter =.= . And after the show I find myself wanting them to make a continuation of the show too =.=||

The more I write the more I find it hard to describe the AWESOMENESS of this show....One must really watch this show to actually feel it . I totally recommend this to anyone.

All in all I give this show a 9/10 , me was actually gonna give it a 10/10 but something happen in the show that refrain me from giving it that ^.^


After a while of thinking I decided I will put this gif file of IXA in the end of every post starting from now. And was wondering how does everyone feel about that ^.^

(Manga Review)Omamori Himari

    I stumbled upon this manga by chance when I was searching for some manga to read.....I kinda saw the picture of one of the covers and I started reading it without any second thoughts( artwork is very important to me ,of course the plot is important as well :P ) .

 
    The story goes that the Amakawa family is one of the 12 families that is onikiriyaku( something like demon slayers ) and Yuuto , is one of the descendant of the Amakawa family ,not knowing the truth about his bloodline, he has been living his life normally like anyone else , but the day he turned 16, he met with a mysterious girl on his way to school with his childhood friend Rinko , it seems that Yuuto has been living a normal life was due to a charm given to him by his grandparents to protect him from Ayakashi( literally monsters ) . The catch would be that the effect of the charm wears off when he turns 16 ,  without the protection of the charm Yuuto became a target for alot of Ayakashi that holds a grudge towards the Amakawa family .

     The Myterious girl( Himari ) is actually an Ayakashi which her ancestors has vowed to protect the Amakawa family , but one thing that bugged Yuuto the most is....it's that Himari is a cat, and ironically Yuuto is allergic to cats =.=.

The show has tons of Harem moments in it ^.^  . OMG!!!!  I really wish I was Yuuto T.T , a little danger is not gonna stop me from getting close to them ^.^

This manga is certainly fun to read , some volumes certainly lightens up your mood  ^.^ . I give a 8/10 to this manga ^.^

(Game Review)Fate/Another

I have been a big fan of Fate/Stay Night since it's release and been looking for decent games which is related to the Story . One of the most anticipated Fate/Stay Night games in my list would be Fate Unlimited Codes which will be released in Japan 18th of December 2008 ^.^ , but as I am waiting for it I found Crucis Fatal Fake which is also a fighting game based of Fate/Stay Night which is released by Lights .

  But this proves a problem as when I play with all my friends taking turns to play isn't exactly what some of my friends call fun , and fighting each other for too long may even invite boredom =.= .(don't get me wrong as although all that , i'm still a big fan of fighting games and will still buy Fate Unlimited Codes when it comes out ^.^) .After that I stumbled upon a warcraft custom map "Fate/Another" 

  Fate Another has all the Servant's in Fate/Stay Night they even have Avenger ^.^( which is quite strong if you fight him straight on as he can return 2 times the damage he has taken right back at ya =.= ) . All the characters have custom model and they are even completed with voice ^.^ . Another thing that is really good about this custom map is definitely the map layout.....it greatly resembles Fuyuki City .


  As for the game everything is quite balance and is quite fun when alot of people is playing it . Every heroes have their strong points and weakness . exmaple Gilgamesh , although he has enuma elish an ultimate that can kill anyone( except saber in Avalon ) but the charging time of this spell is very long , another one would be true assasin , his combo has the ability to kill anyone on the map unexpected even to himself as he can even kill his teammate and he himself =.= , but the cooldown of the skill is also very very long when compared to other character's combo.....

  One of the most crucial thing one must learn while playing this game is that the stats are increased manually . each time you level up you gain 4 stat points(SP) and you also gain 10 bonus SP for every 10 minutes . these SP can be use to increase your stats or upgrade some of your skills, they are also used when using command spells such as instant teleportation , resurrect , full mana heal etc,etc,etc .
Another thing that must be learned would be combo's as every character has their specific combo's , and some of them are crucial for killing .


   This game also have the character shouting out the name of their skills when their using them , this proves to be cool as when using Gilgamesh I can hear him saying ENUMA ELISH!!!! when using Ea ^.^ , although at times it would also proves to be a nuisance since you're not the only person that can hear it =.=

People playing this game must also be very careful as you may find yourself dead in no time as alot of the spells can chip out 2k something hp which means instant death to some characters ^.^|| , the effects are also great and you can really feel them

After playing this game with my friends I gotta put 2 thumbs up for this game ^.^ , while in the same time it also makes me wanna go officially change my name to Angra Mainyu( Avenger ) as I got 3 or maybe 4 times as Avenger when I randomed =.=|| and in a row O.o .At the first few times I got Pawned Big time but after that I kinda get the hang of it and finally can fight back ^.^


 All in all this game is great , and I recommend this to any Fate Stay Night fans out there who just can't get more of it ^.^

(Kamen Rider Review)Kamen Rider Kiva The Movie

I have just finished watching the Kamen Rider Kiva movie , and I must say it is a great movie completed with comedy and a decent plot ^.^ , but one thing did bugged me in the show , and it was IXA's fighting scenes, some of them looked like crap( no offense intended ^.^ )

Ok....the story goes that an evil force( Kamen Rider Arc ) which was sealed by Kiva( not Wataru ) is awakened and he wants revenge against Kiva......The plots is quite fast moving and I find myself sitting on my chair for the rest of the show without moving ^.^ . But in my opinion the 2 new Kamen Rider design for this movie is umm.....BAD . The reason for this is Kamen Rider Rey looks kinda funny IMO and Kamen Rider Arc looks just too much like Kiva( although he's very and I mean very BIG!!! )

Don't let the picture fool you as he is alot more bigger than Kiva =.=|| ,But I din see the appearance of the weapon he's holding in the show, or did I missed it O.o

Although this is not much related but hey, who can resist IXA with his bike ^.^ .If I ever get the money I would really want to modify a bike that look exactly like this one ^.^

The part that got me most exited would be the double IXA fighting , although I did say some of IXA fighting scenes were bad but some of them was also the best in the show ^.^||


Overall this show is worth watching ^.^ I would give this show a 7/10

(Anime Review)Macedemi Wasshoi

   Meant to blog about this anime earlier....but lately I have been too absorbed into reading some manga and also learning my japanese ^.^ .My goal now is reading a novel in Japanese without a kanji dictionary ^.^

A quick review of the characters....starting on the left is Takuto(harem guy) then next to him is his familiar Tanarotte and then his staff Falce

This show is about a magical academy and is filled with moe and sexy goodness ^.^

Kemono-mimi!!!!^.^....Oh, and the one on the far-right is Suzuho . She usually can't speak, but after she takes off her ribbon she will become a blue-haired girl and her attitude is quite different ^.^

Suzuho after taking off her ribbon ^.^ .Ah....she doesn't transform into a maid uniform ^.^ she normally just have a silky long smooth hair and school uniform ^.^

This show also has lotsa good looking Onee-san......^.^

is it me or does this part looks like shakugan no shana>

AAaahhhh....there's just too many cute girls in this show....and she's suppose to be a demon??!!If only all the demons look like her ^.^

if i remember correctly This guy is Sakuma Eitarou , The master mind of all the Moe moments in the Show

Hope they make a nenroid or figma for Ehnues and Chibi-Ehnues

Although Ehnues is Eitarou's familiar but she always gives him suplexes =.=

This show is really enjoyable ^.^. anyone who liked Zero no tsukaima maybe will like this show too as I find myself wanting more of this show ^.^ . Although.....There are some scenes that requires one to wash his eyes after the episode....As I dun wanna give much Spoilers....i'm only gonna leave this message "Beware of episode 5...." :P

(Myself)My Desk

whoo.......I think is about 2 months since my last post.....really a sad thing to say T.T . well.....had a busy semester which leads to my inactivity( this is an excuse ^.^ ) .
